Good morning All,its really cold this morning after spending 7 days indoors this park at the end of town has a good wifi signal so I'm able to post,my next planed rest stop will be YumaAZ or Calexico CA not sure witch yet I've got my little stove going with coffee on and I was going to have eggs but I did not pack them well enough so it will be salsa and cheese on a tortila this morning I'll startout at sunrise going west on hwy 8 to Yuma....God Bless and Never give up!.....Dave
Hi All ,its been a nice day today I found another days work and have my bike running again I'm going to be heading into California in the next few days, I'm only worried about flats but I have 3 spare tires and I'm looking for work along the way, maybe I can make a friend or two in SanDiego and get a place to stay we'll see anyway, good night and God bless.......dave

My name is David and I'm a man not a bum,Please don't judge me for not having a roof over my head, I'm human just like you.I have had a wonderful life and have seen the joys of the birth of my 4 great kids And have enjoyed 14 years with my wife, Now God takes care of them for me till I get to my real home, I lost them in October of 07 to a drunk driver but we will be together again, Today 01-10-08 Amber( my oldest girl)would have been 11 years old, and I find it so hard to keep going on .
I got a motel for a week and to repair my bike ,I'm riding my bike back to California, to the coast that I grew up on . Maybe I can find some work when I get there so I can get a place to stay,Its been very hard not to sell my dell laptop but when I think of selling it I just start looking at all the photo's of my wife and kids and I go find the money I need to just keep going on. It's cold on the road, not only the temp, but the people. What has happen to us in this country, to where we look at someone and tell ourselfs that he's a bum drug addicted psycho who just wants a handout?
I cant afford to go to a doctor I dont have the means to, but I dont drink or use drugs, I do have a heart that might never heal, I cry when I see a Father with his kids, Three days ago I was in Phx Az, and I saw a father with his boy or girl about 6 to 8 mos old feeding him/her at a truck stop and I had to run out around the corner grab my bike/rig and ball my face off, for 2 hours I just cried, I could not stop, I guess the waiteress at the truckstop called the law cause a cop found me and asked what was wrong and I told him and then I told him about my Family and he help me get this room and a job for 2 days.
I will post more later if my post stays up, most places that I have posted on have kicked me off because I just want someone to listin to me....Have fun in all things you do...David

I've done some surfing on this site and have read some post and feel better now, All those in need are in my prayers tonight and I hope things get better for all of us,I don't know if I'm posting an update here properly but you get my point.......love for all.....I'm very sleepy now its been a long time sence I've had a chance to get online and I think I've over did it a bit.....night all ,...David
